Tradition you can taste
A little history about this sauce.
I grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL. My grandparents and parents owned restaurants, so I was raised in the restaurant business. In our restaurants, we made our BBQ sauce that we served and also shipped it to friends and customers all over the southeast. My parents had always wanted to manufacture this sauce but never found the time to do that.
So before my dad passed away, he gave me the recipe and told me to try to manufacture it. It has taken me 5 years… but we are doing it!
It’s definitely been a family affair. My husband has helped me make this sauce for years, at home, and ship to people who have asked us for some, as well as delivered it all over Baldwin County. My daughter, who works in marketing, designed our logo and labels.
Our mission is for Saucy BBQ Sauce to bring people together, with bold flavor, clean ingredients and a recipe that’s been hitting grills for over 65 years… and we are just getting started!
-Terri
PS: We also have a Smoky BBQ sauce, a white BBQ sauce and are working on a spicy sauce and a low sugar BBQ sauce.
